Bourree Project

THE PARKINSON’S DANCE CLASS at the Harry and Rose Samson Jewish Community Center has been a part of the Bourree Project. The Bourree project is an initiative where Dance for Parkinson teachers and participants from around the world have had access to one of Mark Morris’s most distinctive works entitled – Falling Down Stairs – set to J.S. Bach’s Third Suite for Unaccompanied Cello. The Bourree Project focuses on the first part of the Suite’s 5th movement, entitled The Bourree. Classes from around the US and the world were part of a video compilation which was completed this year, 2019. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE WISCONSIN PARKINSON’S ASSOCIATION AND THE JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER.
