THE ORIGAMI CRANE DANCE PROJECT
from the Parkinson’s Dance Class
at the West Suburban YMCA Wauwatosa, WI
This project comes out of California organized by Clara Kluge a teacher of Parkinson’s Dance. Parkinson’s Dance classes from all over the world are creating their own piece around the theme of origami cranes. We have created a dance of 2 minutes, seated in our chairs. This dance is BEAUTIFUL and represents hope, healing, and resilience in the face of challenges. I have titled the piece CRANE DANCE WISCONSIN.
We have submitted CRANE DANCE WISCONSIN for inclusion in a video loop for the 5th World Parkinson Congress in Kyoto, Japan. The piece has been accepted and will be shown at the Congress, June 4-7 2019. For more information go to: cranedances.com.
