The new kitchen floor. Soft on the feet. One coat of paint.

WEEK TWO KITCHEN RENO March 1, 2016 Odd Moments

Okay, so the floor is in, one coat of paint and progress is being made. But here are the odd moments that take place in a kitchen reno.

The sound of dishes rattling which you are washing and then drying on top of the clothes dryer in the basement.

A picnic table in the living room which is really my dance studio which usually is empty but is now filled with dishes, refrigerator, picnic table, George Forman Grill, flooring, coffee maker, slow cooker, microwave, garbage cans ALL of which reminds you this is NO PICNIC.

Getting ready to smell spring flowers because you have spring fever so bad but first must rid your nose of the smell of one coat of paint, Saffron Ivory, which reminds you of the spring sun!

Flicking of lights as the refrigerator runs and hums.

But the excitement of the cabinets being installed makes me salivate!
